"Do Or Die Trying" because "Nothing Beats A Failure, But A Try" ...

I'm in the process of setting up my website, however, it's not going too smoothly. I know it's partly because I don't know that much about what I'm attempting to do, but it's also very much because the "Host" I chose to go with is not very accessible. The assistance offered to "newbies" is very limited to begin with and what is provided is not provided in such a way as to give a novice "enough to go on," i.e.,(this example isn't actually a case, but it's the only thing I can think of right this minute, so ...) let's say you want to know how to upload an image to put on your page. The answer would tell you how to locate you image, but won't tell you how to get onto your page. Oh, and by the way, you have to send an email in order to get a "support." Then you have to wait for the "Host" (who is 1 person) to get back to you. Which by the way takes days and sometimes longer. All I can say is that I am thoroughly frustrated with the service I've received so far and been charged for.

I wish there was some universal place I could go to get the information I need. I purchased my webset around the end of July. I made my first payment to this host the first week of August. My website still isn't set up with the basic stuff, let alone any pictures of the items I'm offering ... and it's a whole month later.

I even went to the bookstore to read up on information that might be useful. That was a little helpful. I picked up a hint or two, but for the most part, getting with the "html" lingo is a little trying. Well, this is my dream, so I'm going to keep on plugging at it. Heck, that's the way I found out most of what I've learned so far, anyway. My motto: "Do or die trying because nothing beats a failure but a try!" Don't know who actually penned those words, but the person I most remember saying them is my mother.
