Changing of the Seasons ...

Early fall is one of my most favorite times of the year. Everything seems so crisp. There's just the right amount of "coolness" in the air. The colors all around are so warm and caressing. I love this time ... except that I always manage to catch a cold. Nothing too serious, just that when it begins, I get kind of "knocked off my feet" for a couple of days, and then the cold just kind of lingers -- for months -- in varying degrees of intensity. Oh well, it's been happening this way for so many years, I've learned to deal with it -- not get used to it -- but to deal with it.

That being shared with you, suffice it to say that I feel really lousy right now. I don't think I could muster a creative thought if it were surgically implanted in my brain. LOL Heck, I'm thinking I'm not going into work tomorrow. Maybe I'll have the strength to try on Tuesday. Right now -- I'm going back to "sofa". (I fell asleep here on the sofa earlier and here's where I'm staying -- especially since the distance to my bedroom feels like my bed could be in another state -- and I just can't make the trip." LOL)
