Ugh!!!

The surgery was performed, but I'm on a slow mend. I still have pain. Slightly different from the pain of carpal tunnel syndrome. More like my nerve endings in the tips of my fingers are on fire. My fingers don't look so, but they feel as though they were swollen. I'm not able to really use my hand all that well, yet. I'm back at work and I'm using the computer, but with constant pain. And to top it off, I can't take any medication ... what I need puts me to sleep, and if I sleep, I cannot work. The doctor says it should subside in time. I'm hoping he knows what he's talking about.
